These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your useof foldES and your participation in any pre‑launch activities, including placing a refundable early‑access deposit.By accessing our website or submitting a deposit,you agree to these Terms.“foldES”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the foldES founding team, operating as an unincorporated partnership until formal incorporation.

2. WEBSITE USE
You may use our website for:
- Learning about the foldES project
- Registering your interest
- Signing up for updates
- Placing a refundable early‑access deposit
- You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to access restricted areas, or engage in any activity that disrupts or harms our Services.

3. EARLY ACCESS DEPOSIT
Users may choose to place a refundable deposit to secure early access to the foldES system when it becomes commercially available.
- The deposit is not a purchase, preorder, or commitment to buy.
-It remains fully refundable at any time upon request.
- Users who place a deposit as part of the early‑access programme will be eligible for a 50% discount on the final purchase price of the foldES system at launch.

This discount:
- Applies only if the user proceeds with a purchase
- Cannot  be transferred, exchanged, or combined with other offers

Early access and discount availability are subject to:
- Product release timelines
- Capacity limits
- Technical readiness

We may decline or refund deposits at our reasonable discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse, capacity limits, or changes to the early‑access programme.

4. NO PRODUCT OFFER OR WARRANTY (PRE‑LAUNCH STATUS)
At this stage:
- The foldES product is not yet commercially available
- No product is being sold or supplied
- No warranties (express or implied) apply to any future product
- Any descriptions of features, performance, or functionality are illustrative only and may change before launchNothing on our website constitutes a binding offer.

5. PAYMENTS
All deposit payments are processed securely by Stripe.
We do not store your full payment card details.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unlessotherwise agreed.

6. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
You may cancel your deposit at any time by contacting foldes.company@gmail.com.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment provider.

7. COMMUNICATIONS
By signing up or placing a deposit, you agree that we may contact you with:
- Updates about foldES
- Product development news
- Early access information
- Relevant marketing communications (you may unsubscribe at any time)

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Content on the foldES website including branding, text, team and product pictures, and concepts is owned by the foldES founding team. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without permission.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Because foldES is not yet commercially available, our liability is limited to:
- The  amount of your deposit
- Any rights you have under UK consumer law

We are not liable for:
- Reliance on pre‑launch product descriptions
- Delays in product development
- Changes to features, specifications, or launch timelines
- Losses  arising from your use of the websiteNothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

10. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Our website may be accessed globally, but all pre‑launch activities are governed by UK law.
